Magazine Feature: Corals in Peril

This feature profiled a coral reef specialist at NOAA. I knew I wanted his scuba diving experience to be an important part of the feature, but there wasn’t any photography that would work well as the feature’s opening spread. This Creative Commons-licensed photo provided the perfect solution, along with the two symmetrical text boxes on facing pages.
