Magazine Pages

In 2014, I completely revamped the design and editorial focus of the school magazine Connections. These spreads are taken from the Morning Announcements section of the magazine. This section uses a very regular three-column layout, so finding ways to vary the design on each spread is important. Clipped images break up the column borders and introduce an organic touch to the layout, and the placement of photography and color blocks helps an extremely geometric page grid feel less regular and predictable.
